Air and Earth

The first drawing in the series talks about contrast in character, air and earth, the skies and the land, materialism and spirtuality, it depicts 2 contrasts that complete one another

The Outburst

The second drawing talks about an outburst,a conflict of distancing and joining can be seen from both sides(drawn with emphasis on dark shades)

Renewal

The third drawing depicts a renewal and both sides surrendering one to another, like the first drawing the more materilastic character
sits lower and lifts the spirtual character higher

Sky with bright Stars

The painting expresses depth and gentleness, suitable for designing your bedroom or any space you want to give a pleasent and cozy vibe.

Painting inspired by a song and also by the painting Icarus by Henri Matisse. When the Icarus fell from the from the sky and landed on the sun. The painting expresses a figure with a orange shirt and a red dot on the left side to symbolize her heart, she is freely floating and feeling light and calm up in the the bright sky.

I utilized contrasting colors to emphasize the posture of the figure, I chose to paint in circular fine lines in order to show the calm and gentle nature of the sky. Painted with acrylic and gouache paints in combination with pencil drawing.

The Chained Ballerine

painting expressing a toxic relationship, the ballerina is dancing in a dark foggy environment which symbolizes the confusion and doubting reality. The feet on the ground describes the small connection to the voice of reason and the inner wishes and hope.
the character appears free but the strings keep her restrained.
